A TV drama is a series of real life situations which are
exaggerated yet relatable, through the use of; themes, settings, issues and
narrative. There are many TV dramas that are on our screens today much like
breaking bad, pretty little liars and game of thrones.
TV dramas are usually favourable areas to go into because
due to their high production values they are able to make really interesting
shows that can do well in the market. Production companies like Netflix and
amazon own a main share in the market and created many successful TV dramas. Many
Netflix originals like ‘Orange is the New Black’ and ‘The Crown’ are now house
hold names.
The different types of TV dramas can vary from crime,
medical, educational, work based, soaps and mystical. Examples of these are:
